This policy explains how TYKHE DIGITAL GROUP PTY LTD t/a Life Covers (ABN 40 636 813 057) handles personal information collected through lifecovers.com.au. We handle personal information as described in this policy and in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law. Where there is any conflict between this policy and the law, the law applies.
This policy applies to:
We collect only the information needed to publish the site, run the enquiry-to-partner referral process, and respond to direct contact.
Information collected through the enquiry form:
Information collected automatically when you visit the site:
We do not ask for health information, and the enquiry form asks you not to include health, medical, income, super or banking details in the optional note. If you include them anyway, we delete that detail from our records and do not pass it on. The partner practice you speak with after enquiring may collect health information as part of their own underwriting process, with your separate consent. That information is governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not this one.
We collect information directly from you when you submit the enquiry form or send us an email. We collect site analytics through Google Analytics 4.
We do not buy or rent personal information from third parties.
We collect personal information for the following purposes:
We do not use your personal information for any other purpose without your consent.
When you submit an enquiry, your details are sent to a licensed Australian partner practice. We disclose enquiry details to the receiving partner practice, and we use service providers (email and hosting infrastructure) that transmit and store information on our behalf, as described below. We do not auction enquiries, distribute them across a panel, or pass them to marketing lists.
We may share information with:
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, ever.
Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. The main ones at launch are:
Each provider is bound by its own privacy framework, and the relationship is governed by binding contractual terms. By using the site or submitting the form, you consent to your information being handled by these providers under those terms.
If we change our infrastructure and a new processor becomes relevant, this section is updated.
Information you provide is held in an access-controlled mailbox protected by two-factor authentication, accessible only to the operating team.
We keep enquiry records while they're needed to manage the referral and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The enquiry form's age range starts at 18–29 and requires you to confirm you are 18 or older before submitting. If you become aware that a person under 18 has submitted information to lifecovers, please email [email protected] and we will delete it.
We use cookies and similar tracking only for site analytics. The current stack at launch is:
